Mark Luehring-Jones is responsible for originating new investment opportunities and overseeing the asset management of KRE’s portfolio of active loans. Mark began his real estate career in 2015 in construction and development project management. He joined Jody Kriss in 2018 at his predecessor development firm, East River Partners, and transitioned to Kriss Capital when it formed in 2020, working both on its development projects and its then-new debt platform. Today, Mark is exclusively focused on the management and growth of KRE Capital Management’s lending business, where he employs his construction and development experience to inform his originations and asset management activities. Mark holds a BA in Philosophy from Skidmore College and an MS in Real Estate from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
